La Cuvée

Terroir: Vineyard approximately 40 years old, grown on scrubland terroirs (clay-limestone soils with the presence of pebbles) with a hilly profile bordered by groves of pines and holm oaks.

Vinification: The harvest is done manually when maturity reaches its peak. In order to extract maximum aromatic complexity, this wine comes from a long maceration of around 30 days including cold pre-fermentation for 5 days.To help extract these aromas, during the 30 days of maceration, pumping over and stirring are carried out daily.

Aging: 14 months, 1/3 in tank and 2/3 in oak barrels.

Tasting: This wine has a beautiful garnet color, intense, deep, with brilliant reflections. The nose is rich, complex with notes of very ripe red fruits, cherry, plum mixed with notes of mocha and sweet spices. There palate is well balanced, with silky, coated tannins, fat, and beautiful aromas of ripe fruit. We notes a nice length on the finish on licorice and cherry.

Serving suggestion: The ideal serving temperature is between 16 and 18° C.
